We are happy to announce a new update to VolunteerMatters!
These updates while extremely helpful will not substantial change the system's interface so there's no "training" required. We just want to make sure you know these features are now available to you. There is nothing you need to do to receive these improvements and they are all included.
On Wednesday (8/18) there will be a number of system improvements including the following highlights:
- Volunteer History Import
- Credential Admin - New Filter Options
Volunteer History Import
The import utility, which is currently only open to VolunteerMatters Support, now includes a Volunteer History import. With this tool you can provide VolunteerMatters Support with your historical volunteer hours and have them imported into the system as self-reported hours against a pre-existing project and position. Credential Admin - New Filter Options
With this latest update the credential admin page has some additional filter options. You can now filter by specific active credentials along with credential start date, credential expiration date, and credential status change date.
Note: With the date filters, the criteria are built-in. For example for the Expiration Date filter, the options are:
- Last 7 Days
- Last 30 Days
- Last 90 Days
- Last 6 Months
- Last 12 Months
- Next 7 Days
- Next 30 Days
- Next 90 Days
- Next 6 Months
- Next 12 Months
Aside from providing some great new credential admin page filter options and the ability to have support import your past volunteer history, there is no major impact on your daily use of other VolunteerMatters functions.
